About me

I used to wear glasses for nearly twenty years. When I was on maternity leave with my first child I discarded the glasses and after some time I realized that my eyesight improved spontaneously. So, I found out that vision can be improved.

When I gave birth to my second child, he was born prematurely and as a result suffers from cerebral palsy and is visually impaired. I was looking for any possibilities to help him and finally I found the Bates Method.

Since I couldn’t find anyone in Slovakia who was teaching this method at that time, I decided to study it at the College of Vision Education in England.
I finished the Bates Method teacher training in 2013 and became a member of Bates Association for Vision Education.

Through a natural progression of events, I eventually established the ProVitalis Centre in Banská Bystrica, a town in the heart of Slovakia, where I began providing vision education services as the first ever teacher of the Bates method in Slovakia.

I have published two books:
